"Super Talent Introduces Fully Buffered DIMMs"

Memory manufacturer Super Talent has just announced their DDR2 Fully Bufferered DIMMs (FB DIMM). Fully Buffered technology enlarges the memory capacity for servers, allowing up to forty-eight 4GB sticks: a whopping 192GB of RAM. These sticks are available for sample this month and will be released for mass production sometime in May. Press Release

All the talk about backlight bleed, dead pixels, poor warrenties, ghosting on low ms screens (manufacturers falsifying specs)...has just put me off getting a TFT to be honest.

At least until my CRT dies ;)

My new monitor is a 32" Hyundai ImageQuest Vuon A321, I'm loving it ... :D

I have a wee shuttle hooked up to it atm an dI'm using it for watching movies that I DL, it also looks phenominal with my DreamCast :D

I feel like coming to your house with a hacksaw and sawing off part of your monitor and bringin it home with me.

But to be honest, I rather a CRT I used a LCD at my mates lan the other week and it wasn't as clear as my CRT..

I was thinking of getting a nice 17" flatscreen CRT, too bad they dont make them anymore :(

I have 4 x 17" and 2 x 19" Illyama Pro's sitting in work doing nothing, if I can convince the finace manager to let me take them I'll drop you a pm.
