4890 sucks. You aren't hearing it from a nvidia fan, I actually own 2 of them...
I'd just go for a gtx 260 or radeon 4870, it will probably run MW2 just fine, and since it's your last serious game, you'd be getting the most out of your money.
(I'm an nVidia fan, so I'm bound to say 275 if there's a choice. 285 or whatever)
Wc'ing tho, if u get into it now, use it on ur 6400, which means u'll get 775 plate etc, and the beauty is u will reuse the majority of the kit (cept the plate if u change sockets obviously) whenever u upgrade in the future.
Good thing to get into wc'ing, it's very enthusiast - and there's lots of help on OC3D for it. Once u've gone wc, u'll probably wc everything :p
An oc'd E6400 will play ur game no problem. OC'd under water it'll be great !
(plus it's a cheap 2nd hand chip if u manage to fry it :p)
If ur thinking of getting some wc'ing - I'd suggest getting involved in that with the main part of ur spend.

yeah yeah sounds good, ive currently got a 8800gt and been told the upgrade wouldnt be worth the money ?
if not shud i just SLI instead?
But there again, another 8800GT could be cheap 2nd hand. Seen them on here for less than £50.
U just got to watch how much cash u throw at older generations. Weight them up against the newer ones.

Which would u say is better, 260 or 275? Take into count of overclocking and which does so best. This card will be used mainly for cod mw2 since its prolly the last game im gonna go serios so;)
Also along these lines im thinkin of upgrading my cpu which is e6400. Now would it be more effective to upgrade to a new 1 or get wc and overclock, longterm and short term:)
