Today is the day that NVIDIA finally fills in the gaps of the GeForce 7 Series. Well, there really was only one major gap - the midrange segment. In addition to filling that gap, NVIDIA is also attempting to maintain or regain (depending on how you look at it) graphics supremacy by upping the ante in the enthusiast and performance segments. The cards I'm referring to are the GeForce 7600 GT (midrange), 7900 GT (performance) and 7900 GTX (enthusiast). As is typical the last several quarters, this is another hard launch, and you should be able to find these cards available from NVIDIA's system builder, add-in card, and e-tail partners today.

yeah ive used this plugin for quite a while, but before it was released, I always did the changes manually to firefox.

me and frag have both written guides on it, but all it does it optimises your bandwidth for broadband, and allows more concurrent connections.

all these settigns can be manually changed in about:config

But why bother Dave if you can get a tool to do it all for you :(

because i can change them to suit my connection sam, whereas fasterfox is still making assumptions on your bandwidth speed. hence, by doing it manually, mine is that tiny bit faster than fasterfox can make it.

It more than likely tweaks the settings how we have listed in the FF tweaks guide here at OC3D :)

Yeah, but I've been to lazy to re-do them since my last format :p, so this is a great plugin imo!

I don't want to steer this thread into a 'Try this firefox plugin' etc, but this plugin puts an 'X' on each of your tabs which I find very handy :) Tabfx

You don't really need an "X" on the tabs cause you can just middle click to close :)

I use tabbrowser preferences :)

Speaking of all this, I wonder if I can tweak the FF settings on Mac... I bet so... Muahahaha :)

Actually, I prefer Safari over FF and I don't use that much. Safari looks better, it's faster, and has the same support. Me <3 Safari.
