XCOM 2 System Requirements Announced

The PC system requirements for XCOM 2 have been announced, revealing that the game will be 45GB in size and that you will require a Quad core in order to have the best gameplay experience.

XCOM 2 has been Announced as a PC Exclusive

The game Will require a minimum of Windows 7 64-bit, at least 4GB of system memory and 1GB of VRAM. While the minimum specs say that you can run the game on a Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, the recommended CPU requirements simply states that you require a 3GHz Quad core CPU, showing that this game had been made with Quad core CPUs in mind, which is something that we should expect now in 2015.

Moving to the recommended specs for the GPU we can see that the game should be pretty GPU agnostic, recommending a HD 7970 or a GTX 770, two similarly performing GPUs. Hopefully this means that the game will perform well on both AMD and Nvidia at launch.
