Sparkle Computer has come up with yet another independently produced GeForce card - the GeForce GTX 570 V-Go. The new card is the second in its series of independently produced cards following its GeForce GTX 580 V-Go and makes it the first manufacturer with the ability to produce high-end graphics cards on its own.
The “V-Go” series is representative of the manufacturer’s independently produced graphics cards based on NVIDIA’s Fermi 2.0 architecture. Using the reference design from NVIDIA as its base, Sparkle has designed the GTX 570 V-Go card with 480 CUDA cores and 1280MB of GDDR5 high-speed video memory. Users get a choice between two versions of the card - a standard and an out-of-the-box overclocked one.
While the standard version carries the same specifications as the reference GTX 570 card, the overclock one has significantly boosted clocks. The core clock is at 752MHz, while the shader and memory clocks are at 3996MHz and 1504MHz respectively, figures that are nearly 6.5 per cent higher than the reference ones.
For cooling, Sparkle has equipped its card with the Vapor Chamber thermal cooler, resulting in a cooling efficiency that is significantly superior to the reference card and also traditional copper heat-pipe solutions. Sparkle has also added its own unique styling to the card design by going with a blue PCB, double purple DVI-I + mimi HDMI output interfaces.
From the looks of it, Sparkle has designed the card to be both attractive and powerful, and has no doubt kept mainstream gamers and enthusiasts in mind while doing so. The word on availability is that it will be soon, though pricing is still a mystery.

In January i'll be having a crack at breaking the single core and triple core World Records at HWBOT for PCMark 05. Crosshair IV Formula, Mushkin Ridgeback 6-8-6 (or perhaps Corsair GTX 2), either a HD 5870 or GTX 580, and 3 Mushkin 40GB SSDs will be the basis. I'll be using Sempron 140 & 145 and a Phenom II X3 720 BE with some DICE.
Is there anyone in the UK/EURO who has a 720 BE before i look for one? Ideally a decent clocker and unlocks to a stable Quad? Or perhaps a X2 550/555 that unlocks to a Tri/Quad? Likewise Sempron's that unlock to Dual-Core's?
I'd post in the F/S section but i don't have enough posts i think.
