PowerColor 5870 LCS Edition
California based PowerColor, famous for their ATI graphics cards, have announced their partnership with EK Waterblocks again, to bring users a pre-liquid cooled Radeon HD 5870 graphics card. The card will come with the EK waterblock pictured, already attached, saving users time and guarenteeing compatability and still providing a warranty. The previous Liquid Cooling Solution cards have worked flawlessly, despite coming at clock speeds, allowing the user to overclock the card to choose their speeds, as the limitations depend on the individual's water cooling system.
Pricing or availability isn't yet known, but with the stock cooled cards costing around £300 in the UK, and the block around £60 when it's released on the 9th of October, you could expect prices very close to the £400 mark.

Just a small correction. The card comes with both 8 pin + 6 pin PCIe power connectors and it needs both to run. The 6 pin is on top of the card, the 8 pin is on the end of the card.
I like the fact that it is shorter then the previous generation, and WAY shorter then what ATI is offering.

Aye 'tis a Tesla card.
They seriously need to make a cooler that doesn't look like the previous models.
I am personally getting a bit bored with it.
what could they do with it though?
Ought to have a fan shroud so that you can get the air flow through the fins and out of the back. single/double slot >> sqaure shape = little room for changes

Thing is, the majority of these types cost 1000s of £££, get installed in workstation pcs, and get used to browse the internet :p ... well display a screen, show HD video at the most.
