Manufacturers Drop Nvidia GPU Orders

Manufacturers Drop Nvidia GPU Orders

The global economy continues to hit the computer industry hard, with Nvidia being on the receiving end of things this time.  Graphics card manufacturers have recently begun to cut GPU orders from Nvidia due to an excess stock beginning to pile up in their inventories.  In particular, Palit Microsystems has just dropped an order to the amount of 400,000 GPUs for the first quarter of this year.  It is estimated that the total of recently dropped orders from manufacturers have resulted in the loss of a nearly 1.5 million GPU sales for Nvidia.

Will Nvidia be able to pull something out of their hat and get back on their feet?
