Epic Confirms Gears of War, UT 3 For Mac

Epic Games' VP Marc Rein has announced that the Mac platform will be on the receiving end of some quality games - namely, Gears Of War and UT 3. The announcement came out of the blue during a Gametrailers: Game Head video where Rein was quoted as saying "...And don't forget, we're also doing Macintosh. Yes, Gears is coming to the Mac and so is UT". You can hear the announcement about half-way through the video.

It's certainly nice to see games of this calibre being made available to our Mac fans

I dont think you will see any difference (unless you game on a 50" monitor) between the GTX and GTS.

You can OC them but why? Its the absolute best stock.

There is a 8800GTS 320mb version as well (to save even more).

I was using a pair of 7600GTs in SLI and was happy with them, till I got the 8800GTS. Its a big jump forward.

The Xpertvision one for below £200 looks pretty sweet :)

Wow 1024 x 768?

Step up the res to the highest mate if it has 1280 x 1024. These high-end cards are designed for WUXGA resolutions.

Still: playing at that resolution this card will last a good year maybe more
