Larrabee unleashes 2 TFLOPS capacity Larrabee layout

Earlier we brought you details on Intel's Larrabee, and if the hype that Intel are making over it turns out to be true then it may shape up to be something special. Larrabee will reportedly be a 45nm product featuring SIMD technique, 64-bit address and 32 of cores runing at 2.00 GHz. The scary part is that it will require somewhere in the vicinity of 300W TDP. Larrabee features an IA(Intel Architecture) core, which means it can adapt to present x86 architecture.

If one of the server admins can pop a note on the server that we are updating to 1.7 this weekend that'd be cool.
