Gigabyte Equips GeForce GTX 480 with WindForce 3X Cooler
"Gigabyte today announced a new GTX 480 model equipped with a WindForce 3X cooler."

The GeForce GTX 480 graphics card from NVIDIA is long since its prime – at least where enthusiasts and overclockers are concerned. This however has not stopped Gigabyte from coming out with a new version of this old warhorse. Gigabyte today announced a new GTX 480 model equipped with a WindForce 3X cooler.
The new card is the GV-N480UD-15l revision 2.0 – a direct upgrade to the earlier GV-N480UD-15l revision 1.0. The first version of the card featured stock clocks just like the original reference card and so does revision 2.0. However, the new card is equipped with the latest version of MSI’s triple-slot WindForce 3X cooler and 1536 MB of GDDR5 memory.
The new WindForce 3X cooler from MSI has three fans that keep the GF100 GPU in the card completely free of any heat and running silently. Other specifications of the GV-N480UD-15l revision 2.0 include 480 CUDA cores, 1401 shaders, 3-way SLI support, dual-DVI, and HDMI output. The core clock is set to run at 700 MHz, while the memory is clocked at 3696 MHz.
The card is already live on the Gigabyte website, but there are no details on its availability or pricing.
