It appears that Nvidia have given Gainward the green light to produce overclocked versions of the 8800 series cards. Gainward has just released the 'Golden Sample' version of the 8800 GTS. Want one? Care to comment? Feel free to do so below...

For some reason I can see every manufacturer being given the go ahead for overclocking the G80 which kinda goesa gainst nVidia's statement about no factory overclocking :/

Ye well I think nVidia realised that it would spoil some of their partners brand names not to let them overclock...mebbe they were making sure they didn't have what happened to the 7900GT's

Yeah which was nVidia's fault anyway for not telling the manufacturers the changes that had been made to the GT's :rolleyes:
