ATI Introduces FireGLT V7350, the Workstation Industry's First One Gigabyte Graphics Accelerator

ATI has announced new Workstation Grahpics Cards based on revolutionary 90nm Technology and with a choice of 512mb or 1GB onboard memory. These cards will look to severely upset Nvidia's hold on the Desktop Workstation Graphics Cards Market.

Called the ATI FireGL™ V7350 (1gb), and also a 512 megabyte configuration, the FireGL™ V7300: the cards look to be able to take the Graphical workstation by storm.

ATI have given these chips pricetags of: $1,999 USD MSRP and $1,599 USD MSRP respectively.

ATI claim (Quote): Featuring an extremely powerful ultra-threaded parallel processing GPU, and ATI’s industry leading Avivo™ video and display technology, these new ultra high-end graphics cards further extend ATI’s workstation graphics line, delivering better performance, more advanced features and higher image quality.

Based on the R520 this card should be good news to all those needing a Top-Notch Workstation Card

Dude I have been so confused for the longest time looking at those pics. Instead of seeing Yellow-Orange Yellow-Orange for the memory slots I was seeing Yellow-Half an Orange-Yellow Yellow-Half an Orange-Yellow with no memory installed. I could not for the life of me figure out what was going on. I finally realized that your memory was reflecting the slot above it. I guess I am just getting tired and maybe should get some sleep....nah sleep is for the weak :)

ROFL, yeah i see what you mean. Thats me buffing up my G.Skill that did that ;)

Its a fair bit shorter than the stacker, but deeper. Its made out of Steel (with an alu front), so its one heavy mofo.

I think thats one of the few fans that he has left that didn't die.... All the rest of them developed severe problems and had to be replaced. They look cool though!

Yep Frag's right, the quality on the batch of fans i recieved was rubbish. I had 4, now i have 1.
