ATI Catalyst 8.12 Hotfix Updated ATI logo

So you're looking to resolve BSOD's when running dual ATI Radeon HD 4850's in CrossFireX, or get better DirectX10 performance when running multi-core CPU setups? If you answered yes to one or more of these questions then you'd best download the ATI Catalyst 8.12 Hotfix which has been quietly updated to adress the aforementioned problems.

Nope, they just wanted to run crysis at a decent FPS on their new 30" monitor with anti aliasing...totally justified if you ask me.

What's it actually used for?



They use these types of computers for weather modelling, protein folding, scientific research, and the US dept. Defence even has one 'monitoring' their nuclear weapons arsenal.
