AMD's 3D Graphics Licensed for Mobile Gaming
AMD announced in February a dedicated business to license handheld graphics technology to semiconductor manufacturers. It is also helping drive new graphics standards, such as OpenGL ES (OpenGL for Embedded Systems) 2.0 to accelerate the adoption of graphics in handheld devices. OpenGL ES is an embedded version of the OpenGL cross-platform computer graphics API (application programming interface).
Freescale Semiconductor announced last month it had licensed AMD's graphics technology for mobile applications such as gaming, navigation and user interfaces. STMicroelectronics has also licensed AMD's graphics technology for use in chipsets for handhelds.

Ah, can someone edit the thread title to Club 3D? Looks like I mucked it up!
Fixed
For one thing you misspelled "roughly", and used the wrong "their" ;) Also (unless we changed policies without me noticing) pics are supposed to be only 400px wide linking to the original image. When uploading, choose Content Image from the dropdown and it'll resize it for you. Also, why so many lines between the text and pic? Description on the front page seems a touch long. (on a random note, is that really the pic they supplied? it looks terrible o.o)
hehe, sorry. :o
That is the piccar they supplied.. very error has been noted.
Thanks PV for being my spell corrector man!
