8800GTS 640MB Getting An Upgrade?
"NVIDIA apparantly will be releasing an updated version of their 8800GTS 640MB."

According to an image leaked on a Chinese forum (seen above), NVIDIA may be releasing an updated version of the 8800GTS 640MB, going by the codename G80-101.
This update will feature 16 more stream processors for a total of 112, cutting the gap in terms of stream processors between the GTS and GTX in half. The rest of the specifications will remain the same (500MHz core, 1200MHz shader and 800MHz (1600MHz effective) memory clock speeds, 320-bit memory interface, 640MB memory).
Something to note is the lack of an update for the 320MB version of the GTS. This could be a sign of its eventual discontinuation, especially in light of the upcoming 8800GT (G92).
