7900GT/GTX Pictured

The enquirer have got some tasty pictures of the 7900GT and GTX

As well as some interesting information.

Quote: Geforce 7900 GTX works at 650MHz core and 1600MHz memory. The chip is developed on 90 nanometre marchitecture and has 278 million transistors. The card sports 512MB of 256-bit memory and the chip is significantly smaller than ATI's R580.

Nice. BUT apparently it may be as fast as, if not slightly slower than ATI's Flagship X1900XT-X.

Retailing at $299 and $499 for the GT/GTX respectively the prices seem competitive with ATI...but will this be the hit nvidia needs to catch up?

(KDE internet explorer for FreeBSD and other unix/linux derivatives). Anywho, just thought I'd drop by and say What up. How is life going?
