Due to problems with chipset drivers, motherboard manufacturers cannot start shipping products utilising Intel's G965 Express chipset. New drivers are expected to be released in October to rectify the problem, but unfortunately this will delay shipments of motherboards containing the G965. Apparently the issue with the chipset driver was that both versions (14.24 and 14.25) failed to include support for Shader Model 3.0, and hence the delay. Further, according to Taiwanese sources, Intel is now expected to update drivers for the G965 chipset every six months, enabling more features and improving its graphics performance.
