*Update*AMD Slashing Athlon And X2 Prices Again

"AMD is planning on slashing the prices on their Athlon X2 prices yet again"

Search News

AMD is planning to slash the prices on some of their Athlon X2 processors starting October 8th.

"As we begin a new quarter and prepare for the busiest time of the year, selected AMD dual-core desktop processors will have a reduction in suggested prices effective next Monday, October 8. This will be a great opportunity to upgrade customers to dual-core, as the AMD Athlon X2 5000+, 5200+, 5600+, 6000+ and 6400+ processors all will feature new pricing," a statement by AMD sent to partners published by AMDZone web-site reads.

Considering that the highest X2 CPU is priced at only $251, it is unlikely that this cut will be very large, aimed more at aligning platform prices.

*Update*

AMD has confirmed the new prices for their Athlon and X2 processors, with the cuts ranging from 5-28%.  These cuts are being made to clear inventory in preparation for the upcoming Phenom launch.

Hi, I've kinda got an idea of what I want but need a bit of advice on what not to get/what to get. I want to be able to use it on gpu cooling later on.

1/2" Clear High Flex Hose (XSPC)
12V Laing DDC-1T Pro w/OCLabs XP Top Blue/UV Blue (not sure whether to go pro or spend a bit more for the ultra)
Black Ice GT Stealth II
D-TEK FuZion CPU Block (gettin 2nd hand good condition off some guy for £27 mind you
Zinc Plated Jubilee Wormdrive Clip 1/2" (10 Pack) (im guessing this will be ok with
my hose?)

Feser One Coolant 1Ltr (UV Acid Green)
Danger Den Delrin/Acetal T Fitting
Danger Den Fillport (Delrin)

I will need some spacer screws on the back of my case to mount the rad to the 120mm fan on my silverstone tj05. I havent seen these on WCUK? Also will my tubing go through pci brackets (the bracket designed for tubing) to get to the rad on the back?
cheers

edit: Decided on removing hdd rack on tj05, putting hdds in 5.25" bays, putting the rad at the bottom of the case as far forwards as possible. This hopefully won't interfere with case connections to the mobo (p5b dlx). Where am i going to put my pump? How will i create enough room for air to go through the rad? :/
