Xbox 360 Falcon

Recently, the owner of a new Halo 3 Special Edition Xbox 360 (going by the alias "JWSpeed") took apart his system and found it utilized the new 65nm CPU, codenamed Falcon.

Since the 360's release, Microsoft has been plague with complaints from users whose Xbox 360 systems were overheating.  While Microsoft refused to give reasons for these issues, users came to the conclusion that the problem was with the chips.

JWSpeed found that the chip was sporting a new, simplified heatsink without a heatpipe, which is hopefully an indication that the Falcon's efficiency is doing its job in allowing for cool operation.
