Intel Xeon processors carrying the “E” designation feature 80-watt TDP ratings while the “X” bin processors have higher 120-watt TDP ratings. Intel does not plan to launch the low-power “L” models until Q1’08, with two models in the pipeline.
The site doesn't explicitly identify the processors as Penryns, but the giveaway is that they're all listed as containing 12MB of L2 cache, a key element of the Penryn quad-core architecture. Penryn is essentially a die-shrink of today's Core 2 architecture, but the design does incorporate a number of performance-improving tweaks and, crucially, 6MB of L2 cache shared between each core pair. The Xeons listed on Intel's website are therefore quad-core CPUs, manufactured by combining two dual-core Pentryns in a single package.

The socket 775 series is expected to launch with an Xtreme Q4 07 and the rest following Q1 08

Hey guys i was just wondering if anyone has had the chance to play the new bioshock demo for 360 as I don't have one? Bioshock is one of those games that I can't wait for to come out, i'm going to buy it for PC the day it releases. O and don't worry PC users, they are going to release our demo later this month, hopefully before the full version comes out lol.
