New Intel Chipset Board Player On Scene
Nvidia recently made a press release that gave the names of several motherboard manufacturers who would be licensing SLI for their X58-based boards.  A number of big names were mentioned, specifically ASUS, MSI, and DFI, as well as Dell's OEM division.  No surprises here.  However, there was one name that may or may not come as a surprise: Evga.
Evga have proven themselves to be a worthy motherboard player in the enthusiast world, producing the favorite Nvidia-based Intel platform boards with their FTW series.  With Nvidia being blocked from producing chipsets for the Core i7 platform, it's not terribly surprising that the X58 will be Evga's Intel debut.
Evga representative Jacob, aka jAkUp, posted a couple prototype pictures as well as some basic specs on the XtremeSystems forums:
* Supports Intel Core i7 Processors
* Intel X58/ICH10R Chipset
* EVGA VDroop Control
* 100% Solid State Capacitors
* 6 DIMM triple-channel DDR3
* Enthusiast layout supporting 2-way, 3-way SLI and CrossFireX
* 10 SATA II 3.0GB/s ports (1 e-SATA)
* EVGA E-LEET Turning Utility
Will Evga be able to keep up their FTW reputation and give the "older" players a run for their money?

Wondering if anyone got an OCZ Nia they wish to be out off?

PM a price and how old and the condition it is in.
