Core 2 Duo

Intel today officially announced that a new stepping of Core 2 Duo's is now shipping. Stepping "F" fixes bugs with the processor, yet those bugs were not made clear in the report.

This is not a reason for you to drop everything and sell your Core 2 Duo so you can get the new stepping, as most if not all end users will notice zero difference.

The important thing is that Intel is swiftly dealing with any bugs that arise. This is one of the negative side effects produced by releasing the Core 2 Duo chips ahead of schedule.

Since I have finally got fraps working properly on my system I have decided I am going to start making a few in game movies here and there and keep them all here for you all to view.

Tonight I was playing some Half Life 2 Episode One and couldnt help giving fraps a run out. What I recorded is nothing special but just shows the great physics in this game. I will make more soon including in game footage from Battlefield 2, Oblivion, more Half Life 2 Episode One, Half Life 2, Counter Strike Source etc etc...

Half Life 2 Episode One - Start Movie - 16.9mb

Half Life 2 Episode One - In Game Footage 1 - 17.5mb

Keep an eye on this space for more in game footage soon.

Thanks, Hyper :ar:
