MSI's X58 Eclipse MSI Eclipse

In the lead up to Intel's release of the Core i7 we have seen some of the offerings from motherboard manufacturers. Recently we have seen ASUS' P6T deluxe and Foxconn' Renaissance X58-based motherboards and we must admit that it's all getting quite exciting. Tday we have been fortunate to have found some images of MicroStar International' (MSI) "Eclipse" motherboard courtesy of French enthusiast site SOC.

Additional images of the Eclipse can be found here

The keypad includes two shortcut buttons, a Communication Button and a Message Box Button, letting users jump to pre-set features on the XMB such as Friends screen and Message Box during game play. Finally, a Touch Pad Button allows PS3 users to use the entire surface of the keypad as a touch pad, allowing them to maneuver the pointer while web browsing by sliding their fingers around the keypad surface.

Looks pretty cool ;)

same as the other consoles really. but i like the idea of using the keypad as a touchpad, thats if it works well.

just get rid of the ps3, then spend all of that development time and money on further advancements in pc technology.

Oh btw, arent they bringing out a new ps3? 40gb was it? Who on earth would have this little attachment for it? looks stupid, should make it wireless and seperate imho.

Meh it's a nice little addition and is exactly the same as the 360 one basically. It is wireless as it's on a wireless controller :D

The PS3 is a great games system, play on it far more than my PC
