Intel has announced that its desktop quad-core chip - 'Kentsfield' - will be in the machines of gamers before the year is out.

'Kentsfield' is two Conroes on one CPU board, making for four cores with a low power consumption. It was scheduled to come out in 2007, but Paul Otellini, Intel's CEO, announced that the release was being brought forward.
'Clovertown', Intel's quad-core server chip (which uses four Woodcrest cores) has also been moved forward.

AMD has an initiative called 4x4, which puts two FX-62s in one motherboard.Intel gone a step further and putting two processors on the same CPU.

The availability of quad-core will be good news for hardware enthusiasts that want to do a bit of everything at once.

Nice job there mate. The caps look extremely close to the epoxy - must have been a few sweaty brow moments there ;)

It was a matter of controlled breathing and slight steady pressure and praying I was not pushing to hard.

Here is a pic that better shows just how far to push the blade in.

Oh, and forgot to mention the HOW in detail.
in the pic below, you can see just how far the blade needs to go to pop the seal, and you can measure it by the hole in the ceter of the blade, if the bottom of the hole is just below the edge of the chip DON"T GO ANY FURTHER! cause the capacitors are RIGHT THERE.
AS for testing I have not had time or the opportunity to work on my PC/Loop all this week.
