Intel Penryn processor model and release dates.
According to the latest Intel roadmap we can expect to see 8 processors available initially; the expected release dates have been included below:
QX9650 will first appear with a 130W TDP. The rest of the Q9000 series will start appearing in 2008. The E8000 series will also start clocking from 2.66GHz with 65W TDP. All processors will run at 1333FSB and not the speculated 1600FSB.
The QX9650 looks impressive, but the 130W TDP is a bit of a turn-off. No doubt the acquisition of the QX9650 will involve the swapping of sisters, and the possibility of donating a limb or two to secure it.

well you know the same old stuff day in and day out. Take kids to school come home do house work get ready for work, pick kids up then go to work, home about 11:00 or so, watch some tv then go to bed. Then do it all again the next day.
May get a chance every now and then to see PV and have a chat, when he's not on the computer.
hopefully going away for a few days soon, kids have got school holidays and PV will have some time off also. So be brave boys and girls PV will be back after his little holiday. (first week in October)

It's been a long time since I've been on. Hope you haven't forgotten me. I've noticed all the newbies around and a big hello to them all. I've been working flat out, and by the time I get home it's time for bed plus PV is always keeping me in the know of what you guys have all been up too. lol.
Well I better go to bed cause it's that time of the night/morning, 2:14am :sleep: and I wont want to get up in the morning and take the kids to school. Hope to chat to you all again, sooner rather than later. :D
