Intel has started shipping dual-core Xeons that use intels 'woodcrest' architechture. These 5100 chips were announced in may this year and will be 65nm, top frequency of 3.0GHz, 1.3GHz fsb and 4Mb of shared L2 cache between both cores.
The 3 GHz versions have a TDP of 80 watts with all others rated at just 65W. An even lower voltage version will ship at 2.33 GHz and with a TDP of 40 watts. Intel hope that this new line will win them back a part of the x86 market.

And show off all of their upcoming lushness. See here :yumyum:
Nice gear on show there WC ;) As I've said previously, I'm really starting to warm to Silverstone's gear. But dare I say it (I'll prolly get slammed here rofl), the Temjin TJ07 is nothing but an Apple G5 case ripoff. Sure they look neat, but it's just immitation, and not innovation that we expect from a company trying to get a decent share of the available enthusiast market. But I guess you could say that about a lot of case manufacturers.
I love the look of their TJ09, I'm gonna be on the lookout for that (in black though), and their take on the SFF shuttle case with SLI'd 7900GTX's...can anyone say toasty :D

I have no idea what the G5 case looks like, but one thing i will say about the TJ07 is that it is watercoolers heaven. That case has so much room, and even a precut grill at the top of the case which could easily accept a 240mm rad :o
I knew you'd chew me over it :( Apple G5
Looking at that layout for the G5, I would say it is definately NOT a ripoff. Sure, there are some similarities, but there are plenty of differences that set the TJ07 apart. For example, PSU and HDD's are set apart on the bottom. The TJ07 uses the "upside-down" layout that seems to be growing more popular. Two fan in the rear, 2 fan in the top, 2 fans in the bottom, I would most definately go with a TJ07 over the G5 case. It's just plain lush, a beauty.
Yeah ok, I did say that I would prolly get slammed for it; no need to labour the point it was only an opinion. Siverstone do have some nice gear coming up for sure :)
