Gigabyte adds USB 3 and SATA 6GB support to AMD platform
Gigabyte Technology have released information regarding the addition of their 333 technology to the AMD Platform, with three motherboards. The GA-790FXTA-UD5, GA-790XTA-UD4 and GA-770TA-UD3.
Henry Kao, Vice President of Gigabyte Motherboard Unit said :

“By extending our 333 Onboard Acceleration technologies to the AMD platform, GIGABYTE is enabling more of our customers to take advantage of the many benefits high speed data transfer and storage has to offer. As the leader in motherboard innovation, GIGABYTE is proud to be able to deliver the very latest technologies to our customers, and with next generation storage capabilities including USB 3.0, SATA 3.0, as well as GIGABYTE’s own unique 3x USB Power Boost, tomorrows performance has truly arrived today.”
USB 3.0 Support
All three motherboards will support SuperSpeed USB 3.0 technology by utilising an onboard NEC uPD720200 host controller. Able to provide transfer rates of up to 5 Gbps this will ensure users can experience nearly a 10 fold improvement in speeds compared to USB 2.0. The NEC uPD720200 controller also provides new power management features, including increased maximum power and device draw to help ensure the stability of power hungry devices.
SATA 6 Gbps Support
The second of the 3's in Gigabytes 333 upgrade is Marvell’s new 88SE9128 chip providing SATA Revision 3.0 6Gbps. This will enable speeds twice as fast as the transfer rates of SATA 3 Gbps. The second benefit of utilising the Marvell SE9128 controller is its onboard RAID processor which enables ultra low CPU utilisation to provide a much more stable RAID solution that software based ones.
3x USB Power Boost
Finally Gigabyte's unique USB power design also efficiently regulates power output over the voltage range, greatly enhancing  USB device compatibility whilst lower resistance fuses ensure less voltage drops to provide a more stable power delivery than previously possible.

Had a quick look around.

What appears to be the only difference is that the UH has a more traditional looking front to it, and sports a white stripe.

Whilst the CH has a glossy black front to it to attract finger prints. Looks nice if u make sure no1 touches it :p

Specs ~appear~ to be the same. Prices in the US seem similar, although the CH is discounted so may have been $30 more for the smart front.
