Foxconn X38A supports BOTH SLI and CrossFire
"Foxconn could well have an ace up their sleeve with the latest X38A enthusiast motherboard..."
Published: 11th June 2007 | Source: Hexus |
Many a motherboard manufacturer have showcased their Intel based X38 mainboards at Computex 07.
Unlike everyone elses offerings, Foxconn have something rather special. A motherboard that supports both NVIDIA SLI and AMD CrossFire.
Many an enthusiast, myself included, have based a decision to buy a motherboard on the support offered. It seems Foxconn are trying to make that decision that little bit easier.
Aparently the secret lies in drivers, it is not known if these drivers will be locked to Foxconn motherboards or if they will become available to all P35/X38 boards.

This topic of discussion has occured in the forum before, now it has finally arrived it would be interesting to hear your opinions here

I'm very tempted by the Sharkoon Silent Eagle 2000 120mm, as well as delta wfb1212m's.
Can't seem to find anywhere in the UK that sell the Delta's.
What would you guys go for out of the 2 above? I'd need 3 of them, and will be attached to a fan controller (7v-12v), and I would like a balance between performance and noise.
They need to be better performance than the yate loons too, as I want to dissipate around 360w of heat

I now have 6 spare 120mm Yates, 1 spare zalman zf-3 120mm and a 92mm amber:D :o :o :o
I may be interested.

How much are you wanting for the yates.

I'm not selling them just yet. Want to see what the Sharkoons are like first.
The other 3 are for replacing the tri-cool fans in the P182, if I do decide to swap them out.
I'll let you know if I do sell up tho:)
id say it was more down to case airflow than anything.. get some of them exhaust blowers one at each side of the gtx should expel the hot air so the rad doesnt get it
Which case blowers are these? Are you talking about the PCI blower fans?

Hope this helps.
