DFI Lanparty are launching the latest in their Blood Iron range of motherboards. This latest one, the 785G-M35 is for AMD's Socket AM3 processors and dual channel DDR3 memory. It features an integrated Radeon HD 4200 onboard GPU, which supports DirectX 10.1, Shader Model 4.1 and UVD 2.0. The GPU also features 128MB of DRR3 sideport memory which increased the performance up to 15%. To further boost performance, the board features the exclusive ABS II CPU upgrade feature, which automatically overclocks the processor if the user selects the option, meaning more performance for free. The automatic overclock will be stable, with a clean delivery of power, thanks to the digital PWM circuits, which claim to be 90% efficient. This means not only clean power, but also energy savings, which then translates into less heat and also less money spent on running costs.

 

Performance cal be boosted every more with a hybrid crossfire setup, using a dedicated graphics card in the PCI express x16 slot for performance gains of between 30 and 40%. The onboard 4200 features VGA, DVI and HDMI, meaning users not only have pure performance but also a plethora of connectivity options available to them. 

 

The audio department isn't lacking either, with DFI opting for Realtek ALC885 chip which delivers 8 channel high definition audio over 3.5mm jacks, coaxial and optical outputs, bringing an impressive audio experience to the user. The motherboard also features 6 SATA ports, an IDE and floppy port, two standard PCI slots and a single PCI express x1 slot, in addition to the PCI express x16 slot, making this motherboard the ideal basis for a HTPC with gaming capabilities or just a basic machine that is capable of everything you could possibly need.
