ATI are readying their new R600 Southbridge chip for shipment around May
Hopefully USB performance will match nvidia's - meaning that the boards will start going out with decent ATI chipsets on them. ATI had been using ULI's chipsets: but with the nvidia buyout there seems to have been a mysterious "shortage" of ULI Southbridge's for the newer R580 boards.

I thought I would tell you guys about one of my favorite programs, it is called synergy. It allows you to use one keyboard and mouse to control multiple systems, it also synchronizes all the clipboards. Also it is available for Windows, OSX, and *nux. Have fun.
Wow, thats some great software. Thanks for that link mate, I'll definately have to give this a shot.
No prob, setup can be a pain, but once it is setup it rocks, also remember to set a key to lock the cursor to the main screen, so that games don't get messed up.
I used to use that 24/7 when my PC was in the basement, had dual rig @ my desk. I LOVE it. So seamless.
Yep, and I never notice any lag or disconnects.
