ASUS to release Rampage Extreme
"The Ultimate Overclocking Board for Tweaking Fun"
Published: 9th July 2008 | Source: TweakTown |
ASUS are set to release the Rampage Extreme which promises to be even more beastly than their X48 based Rampage Formula. The new Extreme model provides DDR3 support; eight SATA ports; a whopping 16 phases of power for the CPU; Fusion Block hybrid water-cooling system; SupremeFX "X-Fi" Audio and of course dual x16 PCI 2.0 slots.
Additional icing on the cake comes in the form of a very interesting new overclocking feature ASUS simply calls TweakIt. Unlike anything ever seen before, ASUS have designed a system whereby the user can fine-tune (overclock) the platform physically on the motherboard itself, without the need for BIOS or Windows adjustments to be made. As the settings are adjusted, these are reflected on the included LCD display; all very fancy stuff.
One would imagine that only those with deep pockets need apply. Regardless, it's a pretty slick looking mobo.

Looks like heaps of fun mate, ride safely :)
I know some peeps who have scooters and go to scooter rallys :)
My step uncle buys scooters and does them up to sell. He goes over to Italy every year or so to get some old ones cheap and then does them up and sells them for a fortune :D

I`ve never seen the attraction in them myself, but have a great time :)
I've not long since got back, and I am just starting to dry out!! It hammered it down all the way there, I was soaked down to my boxers, even though I had waterproofs on. Don't you just love our great British summers:rolleyes:
It was still a good laugh, one of my mates nearly crashed though. Something flew into his helmet, he reckoned it was a wasp but we reckoned not:) We had fish and chips on the sea front, had a quick drive around and then came back home. I got split up from the crowd for a bit on the way back, and ended up getting lost. Good job we had our mobiles, I had to ring one of the lads to get the directions and catch them up. Took a bit of stick for that too:p
Next week, if the weathers better, we are going to either Scarborough or Bridlington.

Wish my scooter was as cool as those ones!
So if you are on the road somewhere between Doncaster and Cleethorpes, and see some nearly middle aged men on their scooters, give us a toot on yer horn:)
