"AM2 Ready Ninja PLUS CPU Cooler – Revision B Available"

Scythe have just broadcast a news release stating that their Ninja Plus has been made compatible with AMD's latest AM2 socket. Apparently, because of the complicated construction of the Ninja heatsink, Scythe were unable to come up with "replacement" clips. Instead, they had to modify the heatsink base & create the new mounting clips for AM2 as well as other sockets.
The changes to the product are:
Model Name: Ninja PLUS CPU Cooler Revision. B

There's definately no question that AMD has fallen pretty far behind and haven't made any good attempts to catch up. Intel is taking a huge part of the market back while AMD slacks on the release of something that can perform equally or better than Intels Core architecture. I just hope that AM3 turns out to be something to compete because I love AMD to death but as long as they're getting stomped in the speed department Intel is the clear choice for me.
Not bad but I think they need to do something a bit more drastic than up the clock speeds :)
Honestly, it hasnt been THAT long since the introduction of conroe....AMD dominated for so long, and I dont need to update my system just yet....ill wait for at least an other 6 months and see what they have to offer.
Welp, EOL for AM2 is here. As you can see AMD is really pushing their new socket, it being the base for their 4x4 and now their FX line. It's only a matter of time. I'm glad I didn't buy AMFAIL.
