Silverstone has recently announced an addition to their Element PSU line, the SST-ST40EF. Designed to use the least amount of power possible, this new PSU boasts an impressive efficiency rating of over 80% under all load conditions, thus earning itself the new 80 PLUS certification. With a 120mm fan and a solid set of specs, this power supply should prove to be a powerful, yet silent unit.

+1 vote for X-230. I have a pair of X-220's that are 3 years old and still going :) (Sister uses them.) Trust me, they've been USED.
He already blew like $80 bucks on some Altec Lansing speakers at Best Buy. I have the Logitech X-230's I believe and they work great!

Ares' on the other hand are some high quality speakers. They play great sound and can be jacked pretty damn high. The subwoofer puts out some bass and the sounds is crisp. I love my Altec Lansings.
My friends Altec's overbass CS:S sounds so bad it kills me. Mine are fine though. None of the ones you looked @ compare to mine though, that may be why.

When i first got them i thought they had a little over bass but once getting used to them i love them. Also, im right on the sub. And Im sorry my speakers dont compare to your oooooo so awesome out of my league speakers:worship:
