Noctua Announce NH-U9B Special Edition

oprNoctua today have announced details of their NH-U9B CPU Cooler, the premium cooler renowned for providing great cooling performance, quietly, and best suited to HTPC or smaller cases. This new version of the NH-U9B SE2 now is supplied with two of Noctua's NF-B9 92mm fans in a push-pull configuration, whilst also adding support for the very latest LGA1156 and LGA1366 sockets by adding the latest variant of their SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system.

Including two of Noctua's much acclaimed NF-B9 92mm fans the SE2 both increase the cooling capacity over its predecessor, whilst also reducing the already low levels of noise. The cooler is supplied with both of Noctua's Low-Noise and Ultra-Low-Noise adaptors, allowing the user to fully customise the balance between noise and cooling that they require. The premium quality package also includes Noctua's award winning NT-H1 thermal compound, ensuring a full cooling solution for any system unable to accommodate the larger NH-U12P or NH-D14 coolers.

Roland Mossig, CEO of Noctua, explained :

"Many customers who are looking for a premium quality quiet cooler but can't accommodate our larger models are choosing our NH-U9B, which offers performance levels close to its bigger brothers while being much more compact. Given the ongoing popularity of the NH-U9B, we've decided to create a special edition that comes with a second NF-B9 fan and provides support for the latest CPUs."

The NH-U9B SE2 will be available shortly at a retail price of EUR 46.90 / USD 54.90.
