Taiwan-based cooling solutions specialist Evercool Thermal today announced the launch of Transformer 3, the latest addition to its Transformer series of CPU coolers. Quite similar to the successful Transformer 4 coolers from the manufacturer, the Transformer 3 can be described as a more compact version of the older sibling.
The Transformer 3 is a tower cooler that features a tower heatsink linked directly to 6mm direct touch nickel-plated copper heatpipes. These three heatpipes also give the cooler its “digit” following the Transformer name. They also carry heat from the CPU at the base to the plane of aluminum fins surrounding the cooler for dissipation.
For ventilation, Evercool has equipped the Transformer 3 with a 120mm Ever Lubricate chrome-plated fan that runs at speeds between 800RPM and 2200RPM. There is a PWN controller for the fan, and it generates a maximum noise output of 15~34 dBA.
The new cooler is fully compatible with multiple Intel and AMD sockets including the LGA 775, 1366, 1156 and 1155 from Intel and the AM2, AMD2+, and AMD3 from AMD respectively. In size, the Transformer 3 is 130 x 161 x 78.5mm in size and weighs a not-so-light 630g.
Availability and pricing details for the Transformer 3 are still awaited from the company.

Anyways. I have always been very much into pc's and making them work outside of normal operating conditions. I am also skilled at modding cases and the likes. I have pretty much done it all in the realm of cooling air, water, tec, chilled water, super chillers, and phase change havent tried LN2 yet but prolly wont either lol. I got out of extreme pc's awhile back and I'm now trying to jump back in it with both feet. Just wish I had the budget I had back then lmao. Anyways glad to meet y'all and I look forward to learning more as time goes by.
