Arctic Cooling Launch the Accelero L2 Pro
Today, the Swiss based cooling solutions provider announced the Arctic Cooling Accelero L2 Pro graphics card cooler. Designed with both Nvidia and ATI in mind, the cooler features a multi-compatible mounting system to make it fit on many of the mainstream graphics cards ranging from the Geforce FX5700 - the 9800 series and the Radeon X1300 - HD4850 series.
Like previous Arctic Cooling coolers the L2 Pro ships with Arctic Cooling's MX-2 thermal compound pre-applied to achieve the best contact between the gpu core and heatsink. Pushing up to 27CFM the 92mm PWM fan runs at 900 - 2000RPM providing up to 100 Watts cooling capacity.
Arctic Cooling keep noise levels to a minimum using their low noise impeller and mounting the fan in their patented fan holder to eliminate buzzing sounds present in conventional methods. At full speed the fan will never exceed the quiet level of 0.4 sone.
Due for release June 2009 the L2 Pro comes with a 6 year warranty and an MSRP of US$16.00 and 12.50€ (excl. VAT) making it a very affordable aftermarket cooler.
