Leading game peripherals and accessories manufacturer SteelSeries today announced that its SteelSeries Siberia v2 Headset will be appearing at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. The headset will be part of the official Award Performers and Presenters Gift Bag. Making their place alongside the Siberia v2 Headset will be the SteelSeries Xbox 360 Connector and the SteelSeries Mobile Device Adaptor.
The SteelSeries Siberia v2 is touted to be the headset of choice for both gamers and music lovers. At the Grammy Awards, the headset will be used by the presenters as well as the performers. The Siberia v2 Headset combines superior sound and microphone technology with a stylish and comfortable design. It features 500mm speakers that boost the bass and overall volume to deliver exceptional sound clarity.
The crystal clear soundscape of the Siberia v2 works equally well with high, low, and mid-tones, while the thick leather ear-cups provide complete sound isolation. An ultra-lightweight design and the trademark headband suspension make for comfortable use even over extended periods.
The Siberia v2’s companion at the Grammy Awards, the Xbox 360 Connector has been designed for console gaming. SteelSeries’ third device at the awards this year, the Mobile Device Adaptor, is the perfect companion for the iPhone, iPod touch and other portable digital devices and makes it easy to use any standard PC headset with 3.5mm plugs with your favorite music player.
“We are honored to be selected and associated with the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards and provide our signature Siberia line of audio headsets to presenters and performers in the legendary GRAMMY Gift Bag,” said Bruce Hawver, SteelSeries CEO. “SteelSeries customers are power users who demand outstanding audio, and we pride ourselves on providing an unparalleled experience to them whether they’re dominating their opponent on PC or Xbox 360, chatting on VoIP or mixing and listening to music.”
