In Google's effort to take over the known world, they have decided to branch out, surprise surprise, into a new field. This time they've decided to try out the selling of eBooks for usage on mobile devices or even just your every day computer, which would actually be great for plane trips with a laptop. The release of this service is rumored to be, "sooner rather than later," so one would guess possibly Q2 or Q3 2007, though that's complete speculation. The ability to purchase individual chapters has also been rumored, which is nice if you own the book but have forgotten it on a trip or something of the sort. We'll have to wait and see if this takes off, but I can see it being successful.
