Auzentech Unveils X-Fi Forte 7.1 Sound Card

Auzentech, Inc. (www.auzentech.com) has unveiled the X-Fi™ Forte PCI-Express® sound card. The Auzen X-Fi™ Forte 7.1 is the first Low Profile native PCI express® audio card that Auzentech has designed especially for gamers and audiophiles. Compared to the X-Fi™ chipset reference design, the Auzen X-Fi™ Forte 7.1 has improved circuitry and components.

"A large percentage of our customers are both gamers and audiophiles," said Stephane Bae, president of Auzentech, Inc. "Increasingly, they are requesting a low-profile sound card with 'mind-blowing' audio playback for music, movies, and games. We created the Auzen X-Fi™ Forte with these customers in mind."

The Auzen X-Fi™ Forte 7.1 marks the first time the Creative X-Fi™ Native PCI Express® chipset has been available in a low-profile board, as well as the first time it has been available in a a third-party soundcard.

The Auzen X-Fi™ Forte 7.1 soundcard is scheduled for release before the end of December of 2008. The MSRP is planned at $149.99.

Hi, and welcome :)
What sort of budget are you working with?

Hello, that was a speedy reply :)

I guess as a ball park figure 150-200. But adding a new case could, well, eat that in one go I guess :( If a new case is needed then so so be it, though I do like this antec one, it cools things well - for air.

The XSPC kit is a great kit for your cpu and for getting to grips with watercooling but you will need a better git for doing your gpus aswell

Typo? xD

I have the XSPC kit. keeps my q6600 at 3.3ghz 30 idle and 42 load when gaming.

LOLZ thanks it is late :)

There is two ways to look at this - I can spec you up a kit that will fit in your current case for your budget as a starting point or we can go a little over budget and go with a new case offering a much more powerfull cooling system.

if you take alook here you can have a sneak peak of a case that im just about to launch - The HEAT SEEKER a complete pre-water cooled case for your CPU.

Do you have a list of whats included in this? Which case is that? I guess it's an all in thing everything for 1 cpu block? Or does it come with some vga blocks too?

The HEAT SEEKER is based on the Cooler Master HAF 932 case

And includes:

4 x Red led Xilence 120mm Fans
1 x Triple XSPC RS360 Radiator
1 x XSPC Delta V3 CPU Block inc i7 Plate
1 x XSPC 750 Pump Bay Res (takes up 2 drive bays)

Your choice of 1/2" or 3/8" tubing, barbs, anti kink coils and clips

All of the above is professionally installed by a Liquid Designs Engineer and is ready to be filled up on arrival.

The Base specification is CPU only but GPU blocks can be added if needed :)

I'd be looking to do all the fitting myself really - would take all the fun out of it if someone else did this for me.

OK :)

One to sleep on I think, rather than make 2am (eeek!) Decisions.. The case is very nice though - has rave reviews too from what I've read.

Thank you for your help here :) Wehave the bll rolling at least, just have to decide on my budget :)

Thanks again.
