ASUS are reportedly readying the next installment in their Xonar sound card lineup - the ASUS Xonar Essence STX. According to ASUS, the Xonar Essence STX boasts a Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) of 124dB, and will be the first card available with an onboard headphone amp. That means up to 600ohm headphones with <100dB THD+N. Impressive!
The Xonar Essence STX reeks of quality, high-end components too and is decked out with Nichicon capacitors. The Xonar Essence STX also features isolated power sources for headphone output and normal audio output.
