I'm not sure where i want to finally put my NAS, it's not going to sit there anyway. As for the 19" CRT, I'm ordering a nice 22" Asus Full HD LCD monitor from scan.co.uk on wednesday as thats when Gordon Brown's cheque for £617.68 magically turns into cash hehe. (Love you Gordon Brown, not just 'cos your from my town either) I should get a lottery ticket this week too as my luck seems to be high after a horse i betted £20 on returned me nearly £100

Oh I love the winter cooling mod :P

I used to sit my computer by the window and open it in the winter for super temps.

Just a quick update (actually might not be that quick) now that i'v been using the NAS for about a month. Seems like i'v had it for ages now. It's a great piece of kit. It's helped me loads, more than i would have expected, not just my Mrs. She did manage to empty her laptop's 80gb drive onto it that only had 3.2gb of space left, there was 46gb in movies alone for my daughter. I'm thinking about purchasing a media server to give to my daughter so she doesnt have to go on the wife's laptop or my ps3 to watch her movies.

It's benefited me also as my friend's can send me stuff when my pc is off. One of my friends who goes to college had a usb flash drive that failed and he needed files taken to college that day, he just put his work on a folder i setup for him and got the files at college. I will be going to college soon and i'll probably have the same use as my friend instead of buying usb pen drives.
My friend is going to buy a NAS box for himself, probably the same version as he found it really useful.

I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking to buy some external storage and has some extra cash to spend rather than getting just a standard external device. The extra features the NAS has is really worth paying more in my opinion.

Thanks for reporting back :)

It's great to know you've had so much good use out of it!
(probably more than I would have gotten out of it!)

Mul.
Indeed, cheers for posting back.

I've been in need of a NAS ever since I got rid of my file server (i.e.- a long time ago..) and I'd say that this NAS seems to fit the bill :)
