Note that the UD5's cooling solution seems to be covering an area of the motherboard that was otherwise empty on the similar UD4 motherboard. This could possibly hint towards a third party nF200 chip for additional PCI-Express lanes.

Last but most certainly not the lease, behold the range topping P67A-UD7 motherboard, which we recently previewed here. The UD7 boasts a fully USB 3.0 back panel, 6 SATA3 ports and an obsene 24 phase power design. This will set you back a jaw dropping £250, but when your ambition is to break 3DMark records on the Core i7 2600K processor, you would only want the best.

You can always go crazy a mod a bland PC case to something that will make Alienwares and the HAF series look tame

Yeah I agree completely, I would've went with the NZXT Phantom but the draw back of it was that it had no side panel (i know i could've done one myself but I couldn't be bothered).
