Is your PC ready for Star Wars Zero Company?

Star Wars meets XCOM – Can you run it?

Star Wars Zero Company is coming to PC and consoles on August 27th. The game puts players in control of Zero Company, an unconventional outfit of operatives from across the galaxy. Under the command of Hawks, Zero Company has been recruited to fight for the Republic as the Clone Wars come to a close. Zero Company must tackle an emerging threat that could consume the galaxy.

On Steam, EA and Bit Reactor have released their official PC system requirements for Star Wars Zero Company. On PC, the game supports HDR and both mouse/keyboard and gamepad controls. The game’s PC system requirements are also fairly detailed, with clear settings, resolution, and framerate targets.

Star Wars Zero Company PC system requirements

Note that Star Wars Zero Company’s minimum system requirements target 1080p 30 FPS at Low settings. Furthermore, the game’s recommended system requirements target high settings at 1440p 60 FPS. Both of these sets of hardware requirements target “native” resolution gameplay. That means that upscalers like XeSS, FSR, and DLSS could help PC gamers target higher framerates or resolutions.

CPU-wise, this strategy game doesn’t call for ultra-high-end hardware. Its minimum CPUs are Intel’s i5-8400 and AMD’s Ryzen 5 2600X. The game’s recommended CPUs are AMD’s Ryzen 7 3700X and Intel’s i7-10700K. All of these CPUs are fairly old by today’s standards. Note that the Ryzen 7 3700X launched in 2019.

For 1440p 60 FPS gameplay at high settings, AMD’s Radeon RX 7800X and Nvidia’s RTX 3080 are recommended. 32GB of system memory is also recommended, which is pretty high. That said, 32GB of memory is the target for PC builders with new systems. While 16GB is ample for most games, having spare memory is always welcome, especially if you plan to play your games with additional applications open (such as web browsers, Discord, etc).
